In our efforts to be a responsible breeder and make the right decisions regarding our breeding program we have decided to make use of the Guardian home.
Part of a Family
We want each of our breeding dogs to be part of a family, where they are loved and doted on. We don't want any of our dogs to live the kennel or outdoor life. We feel that this lifestyle is not beneficial to the dogs and does not give them the life they deserve.
We feel that by keeping the number of dogs in our home to around 3 that each dog gets lots of love and attention. This is why we love the Guardian home opportunity. This is where our other breeding dogs get to live with a family that will be theirs forever. They get to be a family pet and get spoiled! The Guardian home is the puppy/dog's forever home. They live with this family at all times while Mountain Creek reserves breeding rights.
With a female breeding dog, she will visit us once a year for breeding purposes. Usually it is for a few hours on 2-3 different days. Then she come back to stay with us to deliver her puppies and remains until her puppies are weaned.
The male breeding dogs will be needed from time to time, usually just for a few hours.
Our Guardian families for female breeding dogs will receive a thank you fee per litter.
