It probably goes without saying, but we love Labradoodles. More specifically, we love our Labradoodles. Family pets are very special. They add so much joy and happiness to our lives. They are a part of our every day and love us no matter what! They are a friend to have fun with and a shoulder to cry on. There is nothing quite like your pet and companion.
We have been on the receiving end of phenomenal relationships with our Labradoodles and have had dooodles that were life changing and we will never forget. Mountain Creek Labradoodles started out as a dream to provide families, with this very companion and this wonderful experience.
In addition to a dog with an unbeatable personality, we also wanted to provide a puppy/dog that was allergy friendly and non-shedding. We have been committed to continued learning when it comes to puppy and dog behaviors, training methods, finding what works and what doesn't and have worked tirelessly over the years to create the best program for breeding and raising Labradoodle puppies.
We are confident that all the work we do with our puppies while they are here for the first 8 weeks of their lives, translates into amazing puppies. We have the most fantastic puppy families have had the pleasure in following along with many of them as they and their Labradoodle navigate life.
Over the years our commitment to our puppies and our puppy families has only gotten stronger. We wanted to take our program a step further. We wanted to share all that we had learned and studied over the years, with our families. Our goal was to help relieve some of the worries/concerns that some families feel when bringing their puppy home.
We understand how tiring and time intensive those first weeks with a puppy can be, especially to first time puppy owners, or busy families. However, we also know that they don't last forever, and that starting a puppy off on the right foot leads to an amazing dog/owner relationship. We decided to add puppy training to our program because we wanted to do everything we could to ensure success with our puppies joining their new family.
Our training program is all about the puppy and their family. Our training programs are designed around real life and easing if not eliminating the stress and worry many families feel about those first weeks with their puppy. We are focused on producing a puppy that is going to be the most fantastic companion to their family for 12-15 years.
We use the Karen Pryor clicker training method in our programs. We have many years of experience using this program with our puppies and have had incredible success with our puppies learning in a positive reinforcement environment. We also immerse our training puppies in our home life, ensuring they are receiving proper socialization.
The time we spend with our training puppies does not occur within certain hours. Our training puppies receive our time attention at all hours. We treat each of our puppies as we would our own puppy. We have high expectations of our puppies and work from morning till night with them every day (weekends and holidays included) in order to achieve those expectations.
While we do love to teach the puppies commands, and they do go home knowing them, what we do is more in depth than that. We are spending 24/7 with our puppies teaching good behaviors in play and in the home, potty and crate training, leash walking, car riding, social trips, as well as making sure they are consistent with sit/down/coming when called at the very least.
At Mountain Creek, we not only want the best for our puppies, but we want the best for our puppy families as well. We have designed our training programs to be incredibly beneficial to both. While our puppy families should expect to keep their puppy's training going once they go home, we provide our families with a puppy that is 100% ready to integrate with their new family and be the pet and companion they dreamed about.
